Do you want to be the best roofer of the year?

Every day, more than 250 roofs are installed around the world with our natural slate. And every year, we organise a video contest to find the best. The best roofers of the best slate. The Best of the Best.

In 2024, we are celebrating the fourth edition of our contest. As in previous years, in the first round, we will group your videos by country, and the readers of our blog will decide the national winners with their votes.

This year, we have two major new features. The first is that a jury will choose the final winner. And the second is that the winners, in addition to visiting our quarries, will travel to Madrid to watch a football match at the Santiago Bernabéu.

How can I participate?

Contest rules

Taking part in the Best of the Best is very simple: you need to send us a video in which our natural slate is the star. From there, imagination and craftsmanship are key.

The video can be recorded horizontally or vertically, showing a project in progress or a completed one, from the top of the roof or from the ground. Anything you can think of as long as it is related to our natural slate.

Just for participation and to thank you, we will send a small gift pack to each participant. A small goodie bag with professional tools that will make your life easier when installing natural slate roofs.

The video

The videos should be short, between 45 seconds and 2 minutes, and showcase something related to natural slate: a completed project, the installation process, aerial footage of your latest work… Any idea is welcome

Quarry Tour and Football Match

What do I need to do to participate?

Send us a video that somehow features our natural slate: during installation, a finished project… whatever you can think of!

What should the video be like?

Let your imagination run wild. The only recommendation is that it should be between one and two minutes long.

What is the deadline to submit the video?

November 15^th. However, to avoid last-minute issues, it’s better if you send us your video as soon as it is ready.
