Best of the Best 2023: A Guide to Not Missing Anything
Our Best of the Best contest to choose the best natural slate skills of the year now has an official schedule. The 20 fearless participants from 5 countries will measure their strengths in two phases where your votes will decide the winner.
First phase
The 20 competitors are divided into three different groups based on their origin: France, United Kingdom, and Rest of the World (Spain, Belgium, and Denmark).
This first phase will take place between the 11th and 13th December. The videos will be posted on our blog, and you our valued readers and followers, will choose the champion of each group who will move on to the final phase.
The links for voting will open on the 11th December, and we’ll post them on our usual social media channels.

Final phase
The three winners of the group stage will compete for the crown. In this final phase, we’ll post the three videos on our Instagram account, and the post with the most likes between the 18th and 20th December will win the ‘Best of the Best 2023’ trophy.
On 21st December, we’ll announce the winner of the third edition of our contest. The winning team will travel to Spain to visit our quarries and receive a trophy accrediting them as the best natural slate roofer of the year.
